December Daily Pages 14 & 15

Happy Monday CE Friends! I hope everyone had a great weekend and holiday season so far. Today I am sharing a couple pages I worked on last night of my December Daily. I am only half way through.. UGH. I  do not like being so far behind . I am hoping to complete this mini by mid January. It upsets me to not complete projects I start.

Day 14 I took a photo of some candy canes we purchased to add to our tree. It wouldn’t  be the Christmas holiday unless we have our candies here at the Kramer’s house.  I love chocolate. (My dad used to bring us goodies every year before he passed away. He brought the good stuff too..Ghiradelli and Lindor truffles.)  Mike brought home some Ferrero Rocher. He was given them by one of his stops on a route he does deliveries on. He’s a driver for a delivery company.  I would love it if Creative Embellishments could sustain us but maybe in the future.

I altered most of the chippies using glitter. Some of it being loose and some of it being stickles. I applied Tim Holtz distress stains and paints as base colors before I applied the glitter. I didn’t want to completely cover the chipboard in glitter. To make things a bit easier I used spray glue and then applied the glitter.

December Daily page 15. We were relaxing watching a few Christmas cartoons. It’s nice to unwind  a bit with the family around you.

This page I went a little clean and simple. Well for me it is… 😉   Again,  I applied Tim Holtz distress paint on the background chipboard. I then applied some white paint to a stamp and stamped a woodgrain background. I wanted to mimic the papers I used.  I again painted the chippies using distress paints. The home title piece I used a Faber Castell big artist pen and gesso.
