New Ladies on the Team!
Hi! My name is Romy Veul and I’m a 24-yearold girl from the Netherlands. At daytime I have a fulltime job in communications, but at night I am an avid scrapbooker and cardmaker. I love creating anything romantic, detailed and pretty. My love for scrapbooking started 10 years ago when I was still in high school and I haven’t looked back ever since. Besides scrapbooking, I have a passion for photography and I love doing things with friends and family. Thank you so much, Nicolle, for having me on this team. It’s a true honour for me and I simply can’t wait to start working with the gorgeous items from Creative Embellishments.
I am a long-time scrapper, having begun to scrap in 1998. During the past 7 years, however, my hobby has become an obsession! For me, scrapbooking is therapeutic and I enjoy preserving memories in such a beautiful way. I live in Albuquerque, NM with my husband and two year old boy, who is the focus of my layouts as of late! I can’t wait to share my design team projects with you.
My name is Marilyn Rivera and I’m from Puerto Rico but I’m living in North Carolina with my lovely family now. I’m a Fashion Designer although the last 3 1/2 years I’m a SAHM. I’ve been scrapbooking for 9 years, it’s my passion and nowadays it has become more than a hobby, I love to share my knowledge and techniques in my classes and in my video tutorials. I’m a Mixed Media artist with a Shabby-Chic feminine style. In my work you will see some techniques that I use for my dressmaking combined with paints, mediums, lace, pearls and lot of textures! You can see more of my work in my blog…HERE and my YouTube channel HERE. I’m honored to join the Creative Embellishments Design Team and to share with you my passion for this hobby in the next months.
Hi! I am Laura and I excited to be joining such a fabulous team with wonderful products! I live in a small town in Southwestern Ontario, Canada and I am a stay at home mom to 2 fantastic and fun loving young men – Cody is 16 and Ty is 15.
I am happily married for 17 years to my best friend and awesome husband, Jon. He is hardworking, ambitious, determined and loving…I am creative, enthusiastic, emotional and passionate – together we make a great team! We own our own transport truck and he is a long haul driver so during the week, It is me and our boys and my scrappy stuff!!! I started scrapping years ago when my sister took me to a beginner class and I soon struck out on my own. I found a few very helpful and friendly sites on the web and have been trying new things and learning ever since. I really enjoy trying new things and creating all different kinds of projects! I create mostly 12×12 layouts but I do really enjoy creating off the page projects, cards and canvases…anything were I can ink and paint and play and get my hands messy!
With my husband on the road, and two boys and two dogs to keep me busy, I don’t have a lot of time to myself to scrap so I make time! I try everyday to something scrapbooking oriented to give me some ‘me’ time and once a week my mom comes over and we scrapbook together! My family is the focus of my life, my inspiration, and my motivation to scrapbook.
My name is France, I am a French Canadian originally from a small town in New-Brunswick. I’ve spent the last 20 years in the Montreal area. I am blessed to have two fantastic young men and my husband in my life, you’ll be certainly seeing them as they are a main focus of my work. I discovered scrapbooking over 15 years ago thanks to a good friend of mine. My Scrapbooking style has greatly evolved over the years, and now I love to dabble in the mixed-media world as well. Scrapbooking has been a means of relaxation from the busy work schedules of everyday life. I like putting on paper our magical family moments spent together and really enjoy flipping through my albums. It’s my way of enjoying those moments a little longer. I enjoy challenging myself by trying new techniques, new styles, not all pages are masterpieces, but each one holds a special place in my heart. I am lucky to have made many friends that share this passion, so I hope that I’ll inspire you to try new things and that we can get to know each other along the way.
When I am not creating in my studio, you can find me outside creating in my gardens. Along side my supportive husband Adam (both in the studio and outside) and the kids, we are enjoying time outside either on the water or out in the yard. I often bring my studio out in the gardens to create in my own serene environment.
I have dabbled in arts and crafts through out my life, and started scrapbooking when my daughter was born in 2008. But I really dove into the depths of crafting and mixed media in 2014 when I discovered textures, dimensions, mixed media and alterable art.
Hi, I am Maggi Harding, and I am really excited to be part of the Creative Embellishments Design Team! My home is in eastern North Carolina, but, sometimes I claim the world as home. I have spent most of my life wandering, as a child with my parents because my Dad was in the Army, and, as an adult, because I wanted to. By the time I was 18 I had been to 9 different schools, lived in France, Japan,Germany, Pennsylvania, Kentucky and North Carolina.
My husband and I share our home with our two standard poodles, or spoos as we call them. We have a 5 year old, Nika, and an almost 2 year old, Tisha. We love to travel and do so mostly in our RV so that our spoos can accompany us wherever we go. We have been fromKey West, Florida to Fairbanks, Alaska and from the Pacific shores of California to the Atlantic shores of North Carolina in our well travelled motorhome!
I discovered scrapbooking in 2005 when I decided to make scrapbooks for my two best friends from college. It quickly became my passion and something that I spend hours doing and never grow tired of my efforts.
My style is eclectic, I do a little bit of everything but if pinned down, I would say vintage styled layouts are what I love the most. I love color, and red, black and ivory always bring me joy. For me, scrapbooking is an artistic adventure, what can I create, how can I make this piece of paper come to life? Scrapbooking has awakened my “inner artist” and satisfies the creative side of my brain that was long neglected during my career as a CPA. I am really happy to be a stay at home retired crazy scrapbook lady!
Hello! My name is Marci and I live in New Jersey, USA with my husband George. We
have 3 children between us, all grown and gone, as well as 2 adorable little grandsons who
end up being about 90% of my scrapbook pages!
I work just very part time now in a job I have held for 35 years. In addition, I babysit
the grandsons once a week and volunteer at the local college teaching a card making class
for a 50+ program. I love scrapbooking everyday moments and making and trading artist
trading cards all over the world! Thanks for stopping in at CREATIVE EMBELLISHMENTS!
My name is Nanné and I live in Finland, where we relocated to 20 years ago from the USA, with my husband Mike and our three children.. I have been crafting for as long as I can remember, but paper crafts has definitely become a way of life for me for the last 6 years.. I’ve met some amazing people and made a lot of friends through this wonderful hobby..I am excited to be part of the CE design team and hope I can inspire you to get crafty.
My name is Sarah Routledge and I live in Ontario, Canada. I started scrapbooking several years ago, and was immediately addicted and soon moved into other forms of papercrafting. I absolutely love the creative process of putting together a scrapbook page, tag, or off-the-page project. I love trying different materials and new techniques – especially mixed media. I would call by style vintage, shabby chic – but I love trying different things, so I’m not afraid to step outside my comfort zone! Although most of my work is layouts or altered items, I love using my scrapbooking supplies for other crafty projects, including canvases, art journalling, tags, ATCs, mini-albums, home/seasonal decor, etc. If you’d like to see my designs, please stop by my blog: Scattered Pictures and Memories.
My name is Shona Keehn and I am from British Columbia, Canada. I have 3 children, lots of grand babies and a wonderful husband of 29 years.I have been scrapping for many years but have just found my scrappy style in the last couple of years, Shabby Chic with a bit of grunge, and it is definitely something that I change up lots as I am always trying new techniques. OH yes and I am definitely addicted, there is just something about getting my hands all dirty during a project. I am thrilled to be part of the Creative Embellishment team! I get so much inspiration from everyone in the scrapping world and I hope that you can get some from me.
I am a SAHM of 5 wonderfully active and creative kids who inspire me every day…when they’re not driving me insane. I love everything to do with paper crafting and enjoy creating tags, cards, layouts, altered art and mixed media projects. I’m an eclectic scrapper and I vary styles regularly since I love everything from CAS to grungy and distressed. Some of my favorite manufacturers are Webster’s Pages, Prima, October Afternoon, Graphic 45, Bo Bunny, MME…the list could go on! lol
My name is Nicolle Kramer (part owner of CE) and I have been scrapbooking for around 10 yrs. I am a stay at home mom of 4 children. I have 2 boy ages 24,23 and 2 girls as well ages 20 and 14. My hubby Michael (other owner) . of 24 yrs is extremely supportive of my hobby. We both love the arts. I enjoy creating layouts using many different styles of scrapping. The internet is where I look for inspiration through sketches, color challenges and browsing some really talented ladies blogs. I find it fun to learn new techniques and follow trends. I’d like to think I am an ever evolving scrapper who loves using bright bold colors, textures and lots of embellishments to enhance the story being told on my page in a unique and creative way that keeps the viewer continually discovering new details every time they see one of my pieces. I also love to alter different mediums and create tags. I also make the occasional card. I love everything paper or paper related.
