Friday Fan Feature and My Sunshine Layout
Happy Friday Folks! Today I am sharing a couple fan features from our Facebook page. This is new for us in 2014. We thought it would be fun to share how our friends use our products. If it wasn’t for our fans we wouldn’t be in business. Thank you all for the amazing feedback and support.
Laurel Seabrook is an amazing card maker …well she’s a very talented paper crafter. 😉 She is always being published in magazines and well deserved of course. Below Laurel used one of our popular # hashtag word. They were designed by the hubby and he plans to design more soon. The #happy was left unaltered and fits in perfectly with the colors.
On Deborah Johnson’s super cute fall layout she is also using our #hashtag word’s. I love how she altered them to fit so perfectly with the fall colors.
We are giving our fan feature’s a 10% off code that they can combine with any promotions. You have until the end of the year to use the code they expire December 31st. Please email me at (firstname.lastname@example.org) for your code. Thanks so much for sharing your work with us.
I am also sharing a layout I created last night. My daughter was at the Erie Basin Marina when the photo was taken by her boyfriend in July 2013. The harbor is a nice place to just relax by Lake Erie in the summer. There have other fun things to do at the marina as well.
I used our chipboard and wood products on this layout. I left most of the wood products natural to fit in with the color scheme except the cute little wood glasses. (we updated the design so they aren’t to delicate to work with , without taking away from the original design) I used a blue faber castell big pitt pen to alter. I added some texture paste to the lighthouse to have sort of a stucco look but not orange a more neutral stone like look. I altered the anchor with the base being a brass tone and I then added crackle and black ink over the top. I simple swiped an ink pad over the chicken wire panel pieces. The flourish I first applied texture paste and then added a bit of blue to the bottom for a two-tone effect.
I was also inspired by sketchabilites sketch # 107 and the mood board at Scrap Around The World.
Here’s a close up of the flourish, anchor and lighthouse.
I just love our lil chic wood glasses. I even added a bit of glittery girly sparkle.
