Christmas Kisses Layout

It’s Monday already!? The weekends go by way to quickly lately but I do get to enjoy my girls today because they are off.  Nicolle here today with a layout to share. Before I do I just want to mention there today is the last day to get your application in if your interested in being on our very 1st design team. There is some amazing talent out there and it’s going to be a very difficult decision for us.

Onto the layout….The photo’s were taken on Christmas Day and I was being a little playful with the hubby. The picture’s were taken by my daughter Kayla capturing our sweet Christmas kiss. Ha nothing like grabbing Mike’s face and planting one right on his lips.

I used quite a few of  CE’s chippies and wood products on this layout. Tim Holtz distress inks, paints and stains are my go to products when it comes to altering our chipboard pieces. I  do occasionally add texture pastes, acrylic paints and a few other mediums. Lately I am so busy and I need to create quickly so I use Tim’s products. I like the dabbers they are easy to create a sponged on look, complete coverage, swiping across and even layering. I went with the sponge technique and multiple colors on the chipboard pieces. I applied  stickles to the frames and nautical stars  for a bit of shimmer.
