I have a new project I made for a co-worker who’s going to have a baby. I have an abundance of pre-made albums. And I try and make different projects for each person, there has been something in the water where I work, and this girl will not be drinking it. :).
I did use a variety of background panels and word sets. but this is a simple album. sometimes I have a tendency to go over board and my style might not be the next persons, and Seeing this is a baby album. I started on the inside pages.
I used the Baby Word Set and the Baby Time Word Set through out the project. One the first page I made a flip pocket to open it up and have the announcement of the baby. Including name, weight, length, time and weight.
Page 3 and 4 consist of a photo pocket along with the beautiful saying 10 little….. The insert comes out and there are two photo options on there.
I can’t go with out having a little texture on the background, I used the matching stencil from the paper collection and then layered it up with the Wave Panel from the Store, what a perfect fit. And a few more spots for those soon to be perfect little baby photos.
I did a page with a waterfall on it and some inserts to write some of the milestones down, but to be honest not my favourite page. So on to the next page, this one has a large flap and again the Bundle of Joy form the Baby Time Word Set.
Another cute page is the cuddle time. One flap with a few photo ops. On this page I had a leftover chipboard from the Its a Boy collection and just stuck it right in and it worked just fine. I added some February 14th Flair to the page.
A little more layering to the next two pages. I have a few background panels I have cut in half and used on other projects, I decided to use some of my “leftovers” up. I split up the Square Lattice Panel and layered it up. And some pretty flowers and metal embellishments.
I have made a video of the creative process. I basically did all the paper work. got the general layout down of the album and then after everything was glued down that is when I added the flowers and the rest of the bits and bobs.
Thanks for stopping by today!!!! Enjoy and be creative!
