Beach Vacation

Beach Vacation

Good mornin!
Laura here today to share my newest project for Creative Embellishments!
I am loving all the new stencils Nicolle has been busy creating!
To create this layout
1 – cover your background paper with clear gesso then let dry or dry with heat gun and if it is light paper glue onto heavy cardstock, chipboard or cardboard
2 – using texture paste and your favorite Creative Embellishments stencil create a frame around the outside of your background of your background paper.  I used the harlequin stencil
3 – starting with your lightest color of mist you want to use start painting where you applied the stenciled texture paste, then proceed with the next shade and then finally your darkest.  You may want to apply more than one coat to get your desired look.
4 – paint all your chipboard pieces with a one of the colors you used on your frame – I used the Palm Trees, Sea Artist Trading coins, Vacation title and Beach Word Set 2.
5 – paint any flowers you wish to use.
6 – cut three pieces of coordinating paper about  4×6 and distress the edges.
7 – adhere everything together including your By The Sea Flair and art stones and gems
Thanks so much for stopping by
