Lucky in love {Terhi}

Hello all! It’s Terhi here, and I’m sharing my first own project with Creative Embellishments.

For a start, I have to make a confession. When I received my first DT package of Creative Embellishments goodies, I almost got a heart attach or at least I flied straight to seventh heaven – package full of each more beautiful chipboards and stamps. Oh, it was just like Christmas! I am so privileged as I get to be part of this fabulous group. I really hope you are getting your crafty mood on by looking my creations, as much as I got mine when I first opened that package!

After a while sniffing and rolling those goodies on my hand, I decided to make a layout with “Lucky in love” chipboards. I took this image last summer, there is my mom and dad hugging. So sweet! They’ve been together for 38 years now, and they’re still in love, how cool is that!? I hope my marriage lasts for that long, too.

There is also “Photo or page corners set 1” chipboards hiding behind the image.

I used silvery paint to color up all the chipboards. Love that shiny effect, it fits to my layout’s theme perfectly.

I wanted my image and those words to jump up from the layout, so I didn’t use much papers or any other embellishments.  Just a golden doily, some thread and lots of splatters.

I will come back on 29th October, showing you my latest mixed media project – with a video tutorial! Mean while, enjoy my “crafty sister’s” creations, they all rock!

Hope you’ll have a great day! 🙂

*hugs* Terhi
