Pocket Page with Maria

Hi everyone! As i mentioned during my last post, today i’m sharing with you the pocket page that was created to go alongside my ‘Frozen’ in summertime layout. In case you missed my last post here is the original layout…

And here is the pocket page i’m sharing with you today….

DSC_0013Sometimes i like to pair a pocket page with my layouts. I’m not a 2-page spread scrapbooker. For some reason i just can’t get a good flow between the 2 pages and then never end up liking what i have done. But there are times when i have more than 1 or 2 pictures of an event that i want displayed. So my preference, in those cases, is to add a pocket page. I usually do this with leftover product from the first layout.  And that’s what i have done with this page.

The product i used is the Film Strip Photo Frames, Wood Veneer Card and a chippie Flourish. For both the film strip frames and the wood veneer card i mixed together some blue and black paint to achieve a blue color that matched the blue in the first layout. On the flourish, i painted it first with that same blue paint but once it dried i embossed it with clear glitter embossing powder (i combined clear embossing powder and silver glitter).

I then embellished with some washi tape, letter stickers, tags and enamel dots.

I hope you liked today’s post. How often do you use pocket pages??
