Hi!!!

I am very lucky, one of my friend, has just had a baby (a beautiful girl), and I had to make her a card, then I was inspired by the challenge with this a little bit childish image, by the present pink color on the image, of highly-rated flowery…. We shall also find a heart, on my badge!

I used for the background, the stamps “Distress Chevrons” and “Grunge Music Note Sheet” and the chipboard “Florish 15” which I embossed!!

Hi everyone! Wow a new month! March means Spring is on its way soon, and I was inspired by the soft colors in the photo to create this fun beach themed card! For the twist…well I am lucky to have family that lives near the Ocean, and each time I visit we tour around the Island. I tucked in pieces from the Nautical Anchor and Sea Grass Sets and finished it off with pieces from the Seashells set! I hope you all play along with us this month!

This month I was inspired by the colours and watercolour feeling of the inspiration photo.  I chose photos of me with my husband (“love”) and my son as a baby (“family”) because I feel so lucky to have two such special guys in my life! I have used two Creative Embellishments Door Knockers at the top of the tags and two Creative Embellishments Keys as part of my flower clusters. To alter the chipboard, I painted it with white gesso and then Shimmerz Inklinz in Burnished Buckle. I finished off the chipboard by adding some Antique Copper micro beads to them using Matte Gel Medium.

P1120318Hi friends, I was inspired by green color on this picture and for the twist, you imagined, I chose my children !! Because I’m fortunate to have 2 beautiful healthy boys very much in love.
I love the finess of Joy Word border set. To add of the volume, I used Squares that I colorized with acryl paint and on 2 squares, I embossed with Distressed Text Stamp. I used Flourish 5 that I also colorized with acrylic paint and I applied glossy accent for the shine.

Hello crafty friends! The twist of this month is to show why you are lucky .I’m very very lucky beacuse I can create my own art. Getting lost in the moment while creating art is liberating beyond anything else I have experienced. Arts keeps me open to new things and  to see beauty in things I didn’t before.I was inspired by many different  elements from in the inspirations photo such as the circles , soft colors ,hearts, and flowers .

I used lots of circles , beautiful circle vine frame  and circles panel . There circles were painted with white gesso and metallic paint blue. The title ,, create” from inspire word set was altered with black gesso and mica powder yellow.I also added button art  and amaizing flourish hearts .To create my background I used distressed text stamp . Hope to see you all playing along with us this month!!!!

green dream card 600 wc

Hi all!!  I just love playing with monotone colors on cards, and then having a stash of “blank” card ready to go when I need them.  Here is my next in the series of shabby chic cards, Green!  I just love the feel of march and the color green, and the color pallet from Creative Embellishments march Challenge fits perfectly!!

I used the Creative Embellishments Chipboard Nesting Hearts and Dream Words.  I picked out 3 hearts and layered them on top of each there, but left them raw.  I then use the “dream” word and painted it lime green to match the papers and flowers, and then misted it with Tattered Angels Key Lime Pie Glimmer Mist to make it sparkle!

Now what color card should I make next?

I was inspired by the birdhouses, circle bokeh and colors. I feel so lucky to have such an awesome family. Family is everything!  I used our circle bokeh stamp to stamp the images using prima chalk edgers. I used our circle bokeh layering stencil and applied ranger texture paste to achieve the background I wanted. I designed a birdhouse frame ( I will add to the store soon) I simply altered using black soot stain and white gesso. I altered 3 of the spring branches from the branches set using Tim holtz distress paints and stickles in matching colors. I altered the dandelions using TH paints and white gesso. The word together from the celebrate set has an ombre effect again created with TH paints. I added a little stickles to the bottom half of the title piece.

Link up your project below for a chance to win a $50.00 gift voucher to our store.GIFTCARD-50
