Word borders

Word borders

Have you seen the word borders in the Creative Embellishments shop?  They are great for titles on your layouts, I love that they are different from any other word sets on the market.

I used Prima’s Tales of You and Me and a family word from the Family Word Border set on this layout of my Mom and her sister.  I love the soft visual impact of these word borders.  I used a simple technique to color my chipboard pieces today.  I painted them first with white gesso and then dabbed on Lindys Gator Gumbo Olive and Edelweiss Moss Green mists.  This is a quick and easy way to give your chipboard a beautiful mottled effect and I love the shimmer it adds too.

I used our Leafy Corner Flourish under my flowers.  This is one of my favorite ways to add pretty leaves to my floral clusters.
